Vaal University of Technology 2024 applications
Based in southern Gauteng, Vaal University of Technology draws students from all regions of the country, as well as 25 other countries. It is one of the largest universities of technology in South Africa, with an annual enrolment of about 20 000 students. The university is well-positioned to make a substantial contribution to the development of human capital in the southern Gauteng region, the country and the continent.

VUT has four campuses:
- The Vanderbijlpark Campus in Gauteng
- Secunda Campus in Mpumalanga
- Daveyton in Ekurhuleni (also in Gauteng)
- Upington Campus in the Northern Cape
- Southern Gauteng Science and Technology Park is an extension of the Vanderbijlpark campus, which is in Sebokeng
Undergraduate:
All prospective students are to ensure that VUT offers the programme they are interested in and meets the minimum entry requirements for admission. All applicants will be selected on merit by the faculty concerned and such selection may include selection and/or placement tests.
CLOSING DATES FOR APPLICATIONS: (1st Semester and Year Students)
- Academic: SA Citizens 30 September
- Residences: SA Citizens 31 October

- Complete the application form in full and answer all questions.
- Write in plain block letters in the squares
- Mark only the appropriate answer with an x in the squares where options are given
- Please use a black pen
The following must be submitted with your form:
- Certificate copy of South African green bar-coded ID document
- Certified copy of Grade 11 or latest Grade 12 report (e.g June examination)
- Proof of address (Not compulsory)
- Application fee of R100.00. Application forms without proof of payment will not be accepted
