The bursary is available for studies in the following fields:
- Emergency Medical Care
- Nursing
- Pharmacy
Recognizing the global shortage of skilled healthcare professionals, Mediclinic and ER24 are offering a limited number of bursaries to deserving students in need of financial assistance.

Bursary Coverage and Renewal:
The bursary covers course fees only. It is awarded for one academic year at a time, and recipients must reapply annually, with renewal contingent upon satisfactory academic progress.
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Have received or are in line to receive a Bachelor’s Pass in Matric
- Studying or accepted/registered to study towards a qualification in Emergency Medical Care, Nursing, or Pharmacy in 2025
- Enrolled or accepted at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- In financial need
- Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates

Application Process
Applications must be submitted online at Mediclinic Bursary Application 2025 (Reference number: 50066).
Required Documents:
- Certified copy of ID document
- Certified copy of Grade 11/Matric results if entering the 1st year of study
- Current academic record/results (on institution’s letterhead) is currently studying
- Proof of acceptance or registration at a tertiary institution (on the institution’s letterhead)
- Proof of household income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed)
