MP Department of Education Job Opportunity: Examination Assistants

Job Description:
The Department of Education in Mpumalanga Province is inviting applications for Examination Assistants (EAs) for the Nov/Dec 2024 National Senior Certificate (NSC) marking session. The marking session will run from 01 to 14 December 2024. Selected candidates must be available for the full duration without interruption.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Education: Must have a Grade 12 certificate.
- Tertiary Status: Must be registered at least for the second year at a tertiary institution or be an unemployed graduate.
- Age: Must be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Criminal Record: Must have no criminal record.
- Priority: Indigent persons (most needy) will be prioritized.
Application Process:
Applicants are invited to submit their applications through circuits, NYDA, and tertiary institutions.
Required Documents:
- Certified copies of Grade 12 certificate/statement of results and ID copy.
- Certified proof of current year tertiary registration and latest statement of tertiary results or copy of tertiary qualification(s).
- A short Curriculum Vitae (CV).

- Applications may be submitted to the Head Office (Public Examinations & Assessments in Valencia), District or Circuit offices, or posted to the address on the letterhead.
- Tertiary institutions and NYDA may submit directly to the Head Office or post applications.
