Who can apply:
The Department of Health has specific requirements for those who wish to apply. Only applicants who meet all of the following compulsory minimum criteria will be considered:
- A matriculation/senior certificate that qualifies you for admission to a diploma or degree.
- English at Level 4 (HG D/SG C) or higher.
- Life Science/Biology/Physiology at Level 4 (HG E/SG D) or higher.
- Mathematics at Level 3 (HG E/SG D) or Maths Literacy at Level 5 or higher.
- Physical Science/Agriculture/Geography, with a pass at Level 3 (HG E/SG D) or higher.
- A minimum Admission Point Score (APS) of 23 from your six highest subjects.
- South African citizens who are permanent residents of Mpumalanga.
- Applicants must not be registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) for any other nursing qualification.
