Agricultural Biosecurity National Senior Certificate with Mathematics and Physical Sciences (70–79%)

Consumer Science Mathematics and Physical Sciences (50–69%)
Entomology Relevant Undergraduate Qualification
Genetics Mathematics and Physical Sciences (50–69%)
Plant Pathology Relevant Undergraduate Qualification
Soil Science Mathematics and Physical Sciences (50–69%)
Viticulture and Oenology Relevant Undergraduate Qualification
Veterinary Science Strong Mathematics and Science background
Food Science and Technology Relevant Agricultural Qualification

Who Can Apply:

  • Be South African citizens
  • Intend to study or currently be studying at a recognised South African tertiary institution
  • Meet the minimum academic requirements for their chosen field
  • Demonstrate academic potential and commitment to the agricultural sector
  • Submit all required supporting documents before the closing date

 

Required Supporting Documents:

Applicants should prepare certified copies of:

  • South African ID document
  • Latest academic results or matric certificate
  • Proof of acceptance or registration at a tertiary institution (if available)
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Any additional documents requested by the Department

Failure to submit the required documents may result in disqualification.

Applicants should note the following:

  • Faxed applications will not be accepted.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • Preference may be given to students pursuing studies in identified scarce and critical skills areas.
  • Providing false information may result in disqualification.
  • The Department reserves the right not to award bursaries.
