Ekurhuleni East TVET College 2027 Applications Open: NC(V) and Occupational Programmes
Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC) has announced that applications for the 2027 academic year are open.
The college is inviting prospective students to apply for its NC(V) and Occupational Programmes as it prepares for the 2027 academic year.
Applications opened on 1 September 2026.
Study at Ekurhuleni East TVET College
Ekurhuleni East TVET College provides vocational and occupational education aimed at helping students develop practical skills for further study and employment.
For 2027, applicants can choose from programmes offered through the college’s NC(V) and Occupational Programme streams.
NC(V) Programmes
The National Certificate (Vocational) route provides students with vocational training in different fields.
NC(V) qualifications are structured across different levels and combine theoretical knowledge with practical learning.
Applicants should check the college’s 2027 programme information for the available NC(V) fields and the admission requirements for each programme.
Occupational Programmes
Ekurhuleni East is also offering Occupational Programmes.
These programmes are focused on developing skills for specific occupations and form part of the ongoing move towards occupationally focused education and training at TVET colleges.
Programme availability and entry requirements differ, so applicants should check the official college information before applying.
How to apply:

1 September 2026
Prospective students are encouraged to apply through the official college application process.
Important Notice for Students Who Were Looking for N4
If you previously planned to apply for N4 after Matric, the TVET system has changed significantly.
The traditional NATED/Report 191 system is being phased out, with colleges increasingly offering NC(V) and Occupational Qualifications.
This means students applying for the first time in 2027 should carefully check the programmes actually available for the 2027 intake rather than assuming that every college still offers new N4 programmes.
An Occupational Programme is also not automatically equivalent to N4. It is a separate qualification designed around a specific occupation.
Who Should Apply?
Ekurhuleni East TVET College may be an option for students who want to gain vocational or occupational skills instead of following a traditional university route.
Before applying, make sure that:
- You meet the admission requirements.
- The programme is available at the campus you want to attend.
- You understand the qualification you are applying for.
- You have the required supporting documents.
