Application Dates
Westcol’s 2027 applications are open from:
1 September – 30 September 2026
Applicants should submit their applications during the application period and check the admission requirements for their selected programme.
Important: Occupational Certificate vs N4
Students who are familiar with the traditional NATED system may notice that Westcol is offering programmes such as Electrician – NQF Level 4 instead of simply advertising Electrical Engineering N4.
These are not the same qualification.
An Occupational Certificate is designed around a specific occupation and focuses on the knowledge, practical skills and workplace requirements associated with that occupation.
Therefore, applicants should choose according to the career they want to pursue rather than assuming that an NQF Level 4 Occupational Certificate is simply the new name for N4.
How to Apply:
For admission requirements and applications, prospective students should visit the official Westcol website or visit their nearest campus for assistance.
Application period: 1–30 September 2026
