Telkom 2024 Supplementary Bursary Programme

Applications are now open for the 2024 Telkom Supplementary Bursary 2024, and qualifying students are invited to apply.

Telkom SA SOC Ltd., founded in the year 1991, is a South African leading wireline and wireless telecommunications provider, with operations in over 38 countries throughout Africa. The company is semi-private and 39% state-owned.

Telkom provides services to private individuals and businesses, including cell phones & devices; prepaid voice & data; phones & modems; landlines; mobile contracts; internet access; LTE and fibre.

Intended for those presently in tertiary education or about to start it in 2024 whose financial situation may prevent the continuation or start of their studies.

Since this bursary supplements a student’s own financial contribution, it will not cover the full costs of tertiary education at a South African Officially Recognised Tertiary Educational Institution. Bursaries will be awarded on academic and personal achievement and satisfactory references.

Bursaries will be awarded for undergraduate studies, within the following fields:

• Sciences
• Health
• Technology
• Engineering
• Commerce and Finance
• Law
• Education
• Scarce/critical skills training (such as boiler making, welding, plumbing, OHS, renewable energy, waste management, green technology, entrepreneurship, etc)

Compulsory Documentation:

• The online application needs to be completed in full.
• Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your application (the submission of these documents is compulsory – if any items are missing, your application may be disqualified):
• SA ID Document (certified copy)
• Academic record (most recent certified copy)
