Mpumalanga Provincial Government Bursary
The Mpumalanga Provincial Government bursary is an initiative through the Office of the Premier to support academically deserving students from the province who need financial assistance for higher education. For the 2026 academic year, applications are open until November 30, 2025, and are open to current matriculants, recent graduates, and students already enrolled in accredited tertiary institutions. Applicants will need to provide personal and educational details, including certified copies of qualifications and proof of residence.
- Purpose: To provide financial support to students who show academic potential but lack the financial means for higher education.
- Initiated by: The Office of the Premier in the Mpumalanga Provincial Government.
- Goals: To support youth empowerment, skills development, and the creation of a skilled workforce.

- Must be a resident of Mpumalanga.
- Must be a learner currently in matric, a recent matric graduate, or already enrolled in a recognised tertiary institution.
- Must demonstrate academic potential
- Completed application form.

- Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Certified copies of ID and educational qualifications.
- Proof of residence.
- Proof of registration with a tertiary institution (if applicable).
- Certified copy of parents’ or guardians’ salary statement or proof of income.
