Mpumalanga Department of Health 2023 Bursaries To Study Medicine In Cuba
2023 BURSARIES TO STUDY MEDICINE IN CUBA UNDER THE NELSON MANDELA FIDEL CASTRO COLLABORATION PROGRAMME. The Department of Health in Mpumalanga hereby invites citizens of Mpumalanga Province preferably from disadvantaged backgrounds who would like to study Medicine in Cuba to apply for bursaries for 2023.
The target number to be selected for 2023 is very limited.
Directions For Applicants:
- Submit a letter of application accompanied by a certified copy of the grade 12 Certificate/statement of results qualifying them to study at a tertiary institution.
- Have passed all subjects with at least a level 4.
- The following subjects are compulsory: Mathematics, Physical Science, Life Sciences (Biology) and English. Candidates with a 3 or below in any of the subjects must not apply.
The following should accompany the application:
- Certified copy of Identity document
- Certified copy of unabridged birth certificate
- Proof of residence from the local Chief or municipality
- Proof of income of both parents or affidavit if parents are not working
- Be not older than 25 years by 30 September 2023
The certified documents must not be older than 6 months from the closing date.
In addition, all applicants who will be shortlisted will be required to submit:
- Ten (10) passport-sized colour photos
- Valid passport/proof of application for a passport
- Police clearance for not having a criminal record
Applicant Will Be Expected To Undergo Medical Examination With Regard To:
- HIV and AIDS
- Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis (TB)
- Pregnancy (females)
